Let’s start with the basics. My name is Katherine Anne and I’m 18 years old. I was born in Maryland and lived there until the about the age eight. To where I moved to Murray Utah. Murray is south of Salt Lake City for those who didn’t know. There I spent those lovely years being destroyed and rebuilt on a daily bases while learning who I was; also known as teenage years. Then I moved to southern Utah. I hated there so I move here, Eugene Oregon. Now I’m content with my surroundings.

I share my life with a black cat and a miniature dachshund. Art is my passion in life. It’s the only things that ever felt truly right. I love being in elevators with strangers and I have strange fantasy of leaving this earth and living amongst aliens. And for the last few weeks I’ve been a sic-fi junky. I love to books; I’m always reading something. I’m slowing becoming a vegan. Religion is weird to me. My bad habit is saying fuck as well as other foul words. And I obsess over my deviant art profile so much that I get cranky when I can’t check it. (Pardon me; I have to check it now that I mentioned it).
Though I can’t perform it, I love music. I listen to all sorts of music. I mostly like rock and classical music. When it comes to other genres, if it sounds good to me I’ll listen to it. I’m open to new types of music and am always glad to check something out.

I have no formal training in art aside from Jr. High art classes. I do plan on getting some in the future when have the money. As of now I’m just going to keep on sketching. My life goal is to become a tattoo artist. I also dropped out of High school when I was 17 because the school was at was run by the devil and his minions. Sometimes I get a little bummed about it because EVERYONE says I’m disappointed in you, you could have stuck it out and you were smart enough. Though that may be true, I was extremely unhappy. And I don’t feel I should sacrifice my mental well being for something that is socially expected of me.
I’m a strong and blunt person, but I’m also sensitive and timid. Whether that’s a contradiction or not, it’s true. I try keeping the friends I make and stay as loyal to them the best I can. I love to make people feel good and I like to help out when I can. I’m a good listener so I’ve been told and on the flip side I like to talk for hours.
